**OVERALL SUMMARY**

The function is to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including surveys to maintain fleet ships Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), Navigation equipment’s and communication systems. Ensure compliance with company procedures and processes as listed in company International Safety Management (ISM) manuals.

**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
- Coordinate with Fleet Managers/Technical Superintendent for the assigned ships to coordinate repairs, supplies, and surveys as required.
- Prepare weekly / monthly reports on detailing the issues reported by ships and the corresponding rectification actions taken.
- Comply with long-term service agreements, discounts and service tariffs when issuing purchase orders and making settlements for final invoices.
- Ensure compliance with Planned Maintenance System (PMS) for the radio navigation equipment’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Objectives and Key Results (OKR).
- Follow up on ship certification for radio equipment for renewals and compliance.
- Perform VDR data checks and playbacks as requested by teams.
- Document service reports, update the follow-up list, maintain the radio navigation data base - all radio navigation equipment list, gyro service & annuals list, check the pre-survey form Annual Performance Test (APT) and assist with paperwork for New Building / Takeover and handover.
- Follow up and coordinate service arrangements, addressing any gaps as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of project sheets.
- Follow up on assigned projects as directed by the Assistant Manager / Manager.
- For urgent/critical services/incidents, follow up outside office hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Assistant Manager / Manager.

**QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE**
- Diploma in Electronic Engineering preferred or Marine Engineering
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in the marine industry
- Experience in ship navigational equipment preferred
- Good communication skills - spoken and written English
- Flair for numbers
