We are on the hunt for a diligent **Accounts Executive** to manage property agent commissions, transactions related payments, and claims. If you are meticulous, possess a strong accounting background, and have a keen interest in Real Estate and Proptech, this role may be your next career move.
**What will I be doing?**:
**1. Commission Management**:
Administer all aspects related to property agent commissions, ensuring calculations are accurate and disbursements are timely.
**2. Data Reconciliation**:
Liaise with Sales and Operations teams to collect relevant data, ensuring there are no discrepancies in commission calculations.
**3. Claims Administration**:
Evaluate and process claims submitted by property agents, ensuring they are in compliance with company policies.
**4. Record-Keeping**:
Utilise accounting and Proptech software to maintain comprehensive records of all commissions, payments, and claims.
**5. Reporting**:
Generate and present periodic reports on commission and payment payouts, agent performance, and claims to senior management.
**6. Policy Oversight**:
Assist in the development and updating of commission and payment policies, ensuring they align with organisational goals and legal requirements.
**7. Compliance**:
Ensure all commission and payment activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
**8. Conflict Resolution**:
Act as the first point of contact for resolving any payment-related disputes or queries from property agents.
**9. Audit Support**:
Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for commission-related activities.
**10. Team Collaboration**:
Work closely with various departments to ensure seamless payment operation
**What is required of me?**:
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adaptive: Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Flexible: Open to varied job functions and challenges.
- Good team player and solution oriented
- Knowledge of the real estate industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with Xero will be considered an advantage.
