Fendercare Marine have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Assistant HR Manager to be the in-country specialist dedicated to Fendercare and Martek Marine APAC. The role is reporting into the Group HR Director with a dotted line to the HR Manager for Fendercare.

Established in 1988, Fendercare operates from a network of over 40 bases around the world, including the UK, Middle East, Singapore, India, Nigeria, Angola and Brazil.
We will look to you to liaise with ministry of manpower, manage grievances, VISA and ER queries, and process Payroll. You will already have a VISA for Singapore, sponsorship and relocation is not supported for this role.
**Duties**
- Liaise with James Fisher HR management on PLC policies and/or any other requirements.
- Liaise with Fendercare UK for any management approval
- Preparation, Monitoring and complete annual Performance Appraisal and Evaluation process.
- Conduct salary reviews and keep up to date compensation data of comparable positions in the industry
- Talent acquisition and retention
- Preparation of audit required documents as and when required.
- Conduct exit interview and clearance for resignations/terminations.
- Review employee medical benefits and workmen insurance records on a yearly basis
- Process government reimbursable claims.
- Preparation of annual IR8A for employee’s review and IRAS submissions.
- Review and amend employee handbook with changing legislations and/or policies as per direction of Management.
Support of company events
- Review HR processes, policies and forms, and where necessary recommend improvements or changes to Management for approval
- Manage employee grievances and conflict resolution by keeping an impartial and objective view of employees’ position in any disputes.
- Responsible for monthly payroll and associated administration including maintaining system on all employee and leave records.
- Preparation of HR/Finance required reports for Singapore.
- HR management and payroll for Fendercare in Asia Pacific
- Proficient in MS Office and/or payroll/HR systems
- Potential future HR management and/or support to other APAC companies within the James Fisher group of companies
