**Crisis Management Team - VP**

**Singapore**:
As a Barclays Crisis Management Team - VP, you will actively support our Crisis Management Team to ensure that the crisis management structure, plans, and associated documentation are both up to date and fit for purpose. You will use all documentation and plans to respond to business critical events, and ensuring that we are prepared for unanticipated events.

**What will you be doing?**
- Implementing all phases of the Incident and Crisis Management Standard, as a consistent and consolidated set of processes, which are exercised and reviewed on a regular basis
- Being involved in supporting our business and constituent divisions and to develop and maintain the elements necessary for a robust crisis management
- Focusing on supporting our business globally to maintain an internal crisis response mechanism that links to the Barclays-wide response requirements
- Assisting in establishing and maintaining the crisis management structure, plans and associated facilities employed in the management of a crisis
- 24/7 regional support to global Crisis Management team and senior stakeholders to assist with crisis response
- Actively engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure that current crisis management capabilities and vulnerabilities are clearly understood and the risk accepted or a mitigated
- Preparing thoughtful, challenging and realistic scenario exercises to Crisis Leadership and Crisis Response teams; focusing effort on internal and external threats and vulnerabilities
- Actively ensuring that mitigation activity undertaken by crisis management is completed through to resolution

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor Degree or international equivalent
- Four years’ plus experience in crisis or emergency management (financial or non-financial industry)
- Four years’ plus experience in development and delivery of training and exercises (multi-agency/departmental)

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience of Crisis Management across a complex, global organisation with a wide variety of technologies.
- Experience of managing multi-dimensional risks which can impact the financial services and create significant business impacts
- Experience of running complex projects and completing them on target and to budget
- Knowledge of a wide range of topics to include a broad knowledge of current events, economics, politics, and business news
