**What you will be working on**
- The officer is responsible for formulating strategies, policies, and driving projects to enable a well-resourced sector with sustainable and well-planned services, and future-ready social service agencies that deliver quality services.
Specifically, he/she will be part of a team that:

- Oversee and develop policies and processes to strengthen Government’s partnership with key social service agencies that play strategic roles in the delivery of social services.
- Support Senior Directors/Directors in the engagements of key social service agencies, and work with MSF divisions to consolidate information and analyse insights, to formulate longer-term plans to support their growth
- Builds knowledge of and oversee strategies to develop the social service sector by identifying emerging issues and formulating strategies and policies to address these.
- Works with and provides support to the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) as they drive initiatives to strengthen the social service sector.

**What we are looking for**
- Past experience working in the social service or related sector, or in a policy role is an advantage
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to communicate, rally together and work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Strong interest in social issues
- Good analytical, written and communication skills
- Able to take responsibility for projects and work independently
