**Key Responsibilities**
- Active investigation of safety or related quality, security or compliance incidents
- Clear identification of root causes of occurrences
- Propose corrective actions that fully addresses the root cause so as to prevent recurrence
- Conduct station audits including Singapore
- Prepare, support and participate in regulator and IATA audits of SIA Cargo division
- As part of compliance, to maintain and monitor compliance related issues, develop and continually improve the compliance monitoring programme including software, policy and audits in line with UN sanctions or OFAC list. To investigate areas of non-compliance and suggest actions
- To provide data analysis for compliance areas including Customs, ACAS, Sanction Screening, DG issues
- Manage the sanctions screening function for cargo division including future enhancements to the screening function
- To monitor the Strategic Goods program to ensure compliance
- Monitor and ensure the timely completion within Cargo division of mandatory training programs such as Anti-Trust/anti-Bribery, Customer Data Protection Program, Competition Law etc
- Regulator approvals for PEDs such as data loggers for use on board SQ aircraft
- To manage the budget for CSSC
- Verify invoices and prepare them for approval and payment
- Manage contract requirements and issues relating to safety, security and compliance
- Assist in the coordination for cargo division in the annual risk management exercise
- Assist in the development and coordination of the division crisis management plan and provide support in crisis response including crisis exercises
- Project Development / Management for CSSC required areas
- Admin coordinator for the division/department/section

**Requirements**:

- Good tertiary education with basic safety and quality knowledge of airline business equivalent aviation organization
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the Air Navigation Regulations, the Air Operator Certificate Requirements and the relevant Annexes to the Convention on International Civil Aviation
- Familiarity with the administration of a Quality System to monitor compliance with, and adequacy of, procedures required to ensure safe operational practices and airworthy aircraft would be advantageous
- Must have adequate technical and working knowledge of cargo operational areas and their interdependence
- Knowledge of cargo operations
- Good observational skills
- Investigative and inquisitive mind
- Ability to analyse problems and recommend appropriate counter measures
