We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **VP, Corporate Banking Manager - Large Corporates.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Responsible for developing new portfolio through acquiring new Singapore headquartered relationships and increasing income contribution to the Large Corporates Diversified Industries team within HSBC Commercial Banking reporting to the Diversified Industries Team Head
- Drive credit and lending discussions with Risk stakeholders, develop cross-sell opportunities through collaboration with Product Partners across Cash Management, Trade, Global Markets and Capital Markets
- Demonstrate ability to engage with various client stakeholders on transactional, strategic, and macro-economic topics to establish thought leadership
- Ensure proactive portfolio management from a holistic perspective across KYC, transaction monitoring, addressing negative news and monitoring of credit quality for early identification and resolution of potential credit and operational issues
- Develop comprehensive client engagement strategies and ensure strong senior stakeholder involvement with key clients to elevate HSBC’s role as a top tier banker to customers
- Collaborate with other HSBC business lines and subsidiary sites to support clients’ expansion plans internationally
Requirements
- Degree holder with a Finance, Business or Accountancy background
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a front-line business development role in Corporate and Commercial Banking, preferably in a Global Relationship Manager role
- Prior experience working in a business development / client acquisition focused role is necessary.
- Strong credit and business development skills with ability to maintain and grow existing client portfolio, acquire new clients, identify opportunities, and convert these into tangible business for the bank
- Robust credit, analytical and structuring capability, ability to assess client credit profile and metrics and asset/corporate cashflow
- Solid knowledge of sophisticated Capital Markets, Global Markets, Cash Management and Trade Services products with prior experience in marketing these products
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage with a diverse client profile at both transactor and key decision-making roles of Large Corporates
- Self-starting, cohesive team player with a positive attitude and growth mindset
