About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head, Corporate Banking to lead our Corporate Banking team at RHB Banking Group. This leadership role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, managing high-value client relationships, and ensuring the team delivers exceptional financial solutions. The successful candidate will oversee a team of relationship managers and team leaders, ensuring performance excellence and compliance with regulatory standards.

What you will be doing

  • Lead and manage a team of team leaders and relationship managers to achieve target revenue and profit
  • Drive marketing, relationship management, and business development initiatives to expand client base and increase wallet share
  • Strategize and plan for the team to meet annual KPIs effectively
  • Proactively monitor credit quality, identify early signs of problem loans, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Head Office, on credit and non-credit related policy matters
  • Represent the department in committee meetings and present relevant updates and proposals
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal ratios, and operational limits

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 15 years of working experience in financial institutions, with strong exposure to Corporate Banking or Credit Risk Management
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
  • Deep understanding of banking regulations, credit policies, and risk management frameworks
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence
