**Responsibilities**:

- To deputize the day to day management role across the department, including approvals, internal and external stakeholder engagement, internal and external coordination, supervision of performance evaluation and compensation exercise across the department, and high level engagement on compliance and governance matters.
- To be a visionary leader for Global Corporate and Investment banking team, by clearing defining the mission, setting appropriate key performance indicators, motivating members to create unique value, proactively connect with relationship management teams and deliver the outcome as requested by the senior management.
- To build up a strong connection with critical internal stakeholders including senior management members and cascade down the mission of the department to all the members in a timely manner.
- To always stick to the compliance requirement, constantly solidify our matrix organization foundation, and enhance awareness of the compliance mindset across the colleagues, which are a critical part for all the members to perform appropriate.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Marketing, Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of financial/management accounting and banking regulations within Asian countries
- Senior management experience in a sizeable institution and team.
- At least 20 years of experience in corporate banking, preferably with Japanese banking experience.
- Advanced experience in investment banking or sector banking coverage.
- Experience in managing top-tier Western/Asian Multinational corporations and living within Asian countries
- Excellent banking skills including credit analysis
- Proficiency in Japanese is advantageous as the role will be assisting to prepare reports in Japanese and coordinate with the Tokyo Head Office
- Ability to communicate with people of various backgrounds
- Experience in leading teams with other countries
- Teamwork, Leadership, and Responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to the details
