About The Team
The Trust & Safety Policy team develops, reviews, and implements the policies and processes that underpin our Community Guidelines to promote a positive and safe environment for all of our users and content creators to enjoy and express themselves. As a Video and Photo Policy Enforcement Strategy Manager, you will develop, own, manage, and deploy content intervention strategies to optimize enforcement ecosystems and drive synergies across multiple features. You will work closely with a variety of internal partners, including members of the Trust & Safety, Product, Algo, Engineering, and Legal teams.
About the Role
You will be a key player in identifying areas for policy improvement, leveraging data and metrics to drive strategic policy adjustments, and collaborating with policy development, regional policy, data science and product teams to build new processes and tools to ensure effective and efficient policy enforcement. You will also be expected to identify and anticipate content safety risks to support launches of new models, processes, and products, partnering with product, engineering, operations, and legal teams to enhance our safety approaches.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee enforcement quality in Nudity and Sexual Activity, including calibrations across various stakeholders. Work cross-functionally, and keep the users safe while protecting free speech.
- Manage and shape relationships with Product, Policy development and Data Science teams on launches, tools and model development, proactively addressing emerging trends, and tracking and monitoring performance against metrics.
- Manage high priority, time sensitive global escalations in partnership with regional high harm policy cross-functional while providing executive updates.
- Navigate complex stakeholder relationships to build consensus and drive successful project outcomes.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, especially in policy enforcement
- Strong understanding of online safety issues and best practices; strong understanding of Nudity and Sexual Activity domain and emerging trends
- Deep understanding and interest in Trust and Safety policy issues, and enforcement ecosystems that impact online safety;
- Proven ability to analyze data and use insights to inform policy decisions;
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong cross-cultural relationships with diverse stakeholders, navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, and resolve conflicts effectively;
**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Confident self-starter with excellent judgment, and can balance multiple trade-offs to develop principled, enforceable, and defensible policies and strategies;
- Persuasive oral and written communication, with the ability to translate complex challenges into simple, concise, and clear language to persuade cross-functional partners and leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often uncertain environment.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills;
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus;
- Experience with AI/ML and LLMs is a plus;
