**What the role is**
- You will be part of the team that oversees the Governance and Compliance (G&C) of HR processes in the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).
**What you will be working on**
- You will be required to lead internal audits and recommend measures that could eliminate, prevent and/or mitigate G&C risks. These include developing internal controls, conducting of compliance reviews, tracking and monitoring all follow-up activities, identifying gaps and ensuring the prompt closure of issues. In this, you will support HR audits by the Internal Audit Department (IAD) and Auditor-General’s Office (AGO), liaise with process owners in the Department, technical teams and other agencies to work out appropriate responses on the audit issues raised. Through these internal audits, you will also be leading the process re-engineering and implementation of digital solutions to streamline processes and pre-empt/close gaps identified in the RSN HR system. These include obtaining stakeholders’ buy-in and commitment, executing change management plans to ensure the successful implementation and sustainability of enhanced business processes/systems. Your challenge lies in being able to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of your re-design efforts, as a trusted partnership with stakeholders is key in process re-engineering.
