Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 – 6 years of Consumer Sales Experience for Manager position, preferably working in FMCG environment
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Strong inter-personal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Good analytic skills to identify growth opportunities
  • Class 3 Driving License
  • Any other duties assigned by the Management

Responsibilities:

  • To achieve the monthly net sales target for the assigned accounts based on the yearly budget set
  • Responsible for the management of trade fund and achievement of business profit for the assigned accounts.
  • To build strong and long-term working relationships with clients by ensuring their needs are met and addressing / resolving any issue or concerns raised by the clients.
  • To raise brand/product awareness & visibility for Kao's brands at store level by optimizing distribution and merchandising opportunities.
  • To analyse and evaluate customer account sales trends and specific brand/category performance to maximize revenue and profitability, Kao's share of the business, and promotional thrusts
  • To work closely with Marketing / Trade Marketing to develop and implement innovative and impactful in-store sales promotion and merchandising programmes which will improve visibility and profitability
  • To provide feedback on trade developments and serve as the customer's advocate within Kao to ensure that the company is constantly aligned to its key customers
  • To conduct business reviews with the assigned customer accounts with Senior Sales Manager to improve sales performance and develop Kao's business within the account
  • To provide guidance and coaching to the Field Assistant's team for monthly cycle activities, field route and merchandising guidelines
  • To undertake regular field visits to monitor stock levels and displays; to develop relationships at the store level; keep abreast of, and provide feedback on, competitive developments; and gauge consumer purchase patterns
