Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and driven Sales Manager to help us grow our sales in the paint and coatings industry, both in Singapore and Johore, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding customer base, managing key accounts, and achieving revenue targets. This is a front-line sales role where you will be actively approaching customers, opening doors, and closing deals.

You don't need to have high academic qualifications - what matters is your passion for sales, ability to connect with people, and determination to hit targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand market share.
  • Promote and sell our paint products to contractors, distributors, retailers, and project owners in Singapore and Johor, Malaysia.

  • Identify new business opportunities and manage relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, and institutional clients.

  • Proactively seek new customers through site visits, calls, and networking.
  • Build long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and share insights with management.

  • Collaborate with the manufacturer to understand product specifications and applications.

  • Ensure timely collections and manage credit exposure with customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients and partners in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt service and addressing complaints or issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Some sales experience in paint, construction materials, or related fields is an advantage, but not a must.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and target-driven.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, WhatsApp, email).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently and develop business in both Singapore and Johor.
