Car Rental Assistant Manager/ Executive

Key Responsibilities
- Handle all enquiries for corporate and long-term vehicle leases via various channels (telephone, email, etc.).
- Prepare costing and generate quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Perform cold calls and follow up on leads to drive new sales and business opportunities.
- Conduct market competition analysis and assist in developing sales plans and strategies to boost rental revenue.
- Manage all vehicle bookings through our in-house booking systems.
- Coordinate with the operations and maintenance teams to oversee vehicle preparation, delivery, movements, breakdowns, and maintenance issues.
- Liaise with the admin team to ensure smooth operations, including accurate documentation for all contracts and hiring agreements.
- Proactively renew existing leasing contracts and actively source new corporate clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact (POC) for corporate and long-term clients, ensuring excellent follow-up and customer service for all lease and vehicle-related matters.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage retention and referrals.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle rental utilization reports to management.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in vehicle leasing, car rental, or related sales/service roles. Candidates with less experience are also welcome to apply. Remuneration will be aligned with the individual's experience and demonstrated strengths
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing.
- Class 3 driving license (optional but preferred).
