About the role

Chung Shan Pte Ltd is looking for a skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team in the Woodlands North Region. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and compliance. Your strategic input and leadership will be crucial in supporting our organisation's growth and strengthening our company culture.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement effective HR strategies and policies that align with the company's overall business objectives
  2. Manage the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding
  3. Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting the best candidates for various roles
  4. Handling Payroll processing
  5. Submission of CPF/SDL/FWL/IR8A and manpower survey
  6. Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace
  7. Design and deliver training and development programmes to enhance the skills and capabilities of our employees
  8. Manage HR benefits and welfare including employee insurance
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the overall business objectives
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and data
  12. Continuously seek ways to optimise HR processes and improve employee engagement

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. At least 5 years of proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably in the management sector
  3. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with employees at all levels
  5. Proficient in using HR software and data analysis tools to generate insights and drive decision-making
  6. Proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and address HR-related challenges
  7. Collaborative team player with a strong focus on employee engagement and development
