About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant Assistant to join the team at Digie Engineering Technology Pte. Ltd. in the Jurong East West Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing essential accounting support and contributing to the overall financial operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Performing general accounting duties such as maintaining records, reconciling accounts, and processing invoices and payments
  • Providing support in the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial reports
  • Ensuring accurate and timely data entry and record-keeping
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address financial inquiries and provide relevant information
  • Adhering to established accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the Accounting industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
