What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing journal entries and analyzing financial data to document key business transactions.
  • Creating monthly P&L statements, closing reports, and cost accounting summaries.
  • Reconciling general ledger accounts and providing detailed documentation support.
  • Gathering financial data across departments to ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Supporting the implementation and enhancement of accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Reviewing budgets, analyzing actuals, and highlighting key variances.
  • Proposing and monitoring budgets, ensuring financial discipline and control.
  • Ensuring data accuracy in financial systems and reports.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
  • Participating in audits and maintaining compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal standards.
  • Recommending improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
  • Using Oracle Financials and other systems to enter data and generate reports.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2 years of relevant accounting experience (corporate or public).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or Oracle
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and Access.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across departments.
