About the Role

Alwin Global Pte. Ltd. an importer of dried goods is seeking a full-time Accounts Executive or Senior Accounts Assistant (AP and AR) to join their team in the Toh Guan West Region. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the company.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare and generate financial reports and statements, such as aged accounts payable and receivable
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing and payment issues
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, preferably in a small-to-medium-sized business
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and regulations
