Job Purpose

To provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests at the new Indian restaurant outlet, ensuring they enjoy a memorable dining experience with authentic Indian cuisine. Service Crew members act as the link between guests and the kitchen, creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service

  • Greet, seat, and attend to guests in a warm and professional manner.

  • Present menus and explain Indian dishes (curries, thalis, breads, spice levels, vegetarian options).
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them promptly.
  • Recommend specials, beverages, and desserts to enhance the dining experience.

  • Dining Room Operations

  • Clear and reset tables efficiently.

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
  • Assist with reservations and waiting list management if required.
  • Support smooth communication between guests and kitchen.

  • Cashiering & Support

  • Process bills and handle payments when required.

  • Assist with packing takeaway/delivery orders.
  • Support promotions and festive menus (e.g., Diwali, Eid, Pongal).

  • Compliance & Hygiene

  • Follow grooming and service standards set by management.

  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and liquor service regulations.
  • Uphold a clean and safe working environment.

  • Skills & Competencies

  • Pleasant personality with good communication skills.

  • Ability to explain Indian dishes to both Indian and non-Indian guests.
  • Experience in F&B service preferred, but training will be provided.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and reliability.
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
