We are looking for a Events Coordinator (maternity cover), to join our team

Clerical Functions

  • Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and distribute external and internal documents (e.g., Proposal Letters, Letters of Agreement, BEOs).
  • Maintain filing systems for catering-related information and proposals.
  • Ensure office tidiness and manage supplies.

Coordinator Functions

  • Manage event details using Amadeus Delphi systems.
  • Support Managers with internal communications and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with hotel inspections and walk-in inquiries.
  • Prepare accurate reports and departmental updates.

Other Duties

  • Support promotional activities for top producers and account bookers.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel standards, hygiene, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ESG initiatives and training programs.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality, Events Management, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Amadeus Delphi preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in event coordination or hospitality is an advantage.
