Job Description & Requirements
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Committee & Stakeholder Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative, operational, and strategic support to our committee and its stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, people-focused, and comfortable working in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. This role is key to ensuring the smooth functioning of committee operations and advancing stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommittee Management & Support
- Serve as the primary liaison for committee members, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Organise and coordinate committee meetings, including venue arrangements, logistics, and hospitality.
- Prepare and distribute high-quality meeting materials such as agendas, minutes, presentations, and reports.
- Implement systems for tracking meeting action items and ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain systematic documentation of committee proceedings and decisions.
Stakeholder Communications
- Manage professional communications with committee members and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective information flow between internal teams and external parties.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
Policy and Planning
- Support strategic planning initiatives and contribute to policy development.
- Participate in process evaluation and improvement efforts.
- Manage special projects as assigned by senior leadership.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and manage competing priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in developing comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Ability to analyse complex information and present it clearly.
- Experience supporting committees or boards (advantageous).
Experience
- Relevant planning experience in a comparable administrative or policy support role.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and juggling multiple responsibilities.
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent written communication skills.
- Experience in public sector operations (preferred).
- Familiarity with Singapore's social service and fundraising landscape (advantageous).
- Work that directly contributes to community and social development.
- A collaborative, purpose-driven work environment.
