About the Job

  • Do you believe youth athletes deserve more than cookie-cutter workouts and outdated drills?
  • Are you passionate about shaping not just stronger bodies—but more resilient, confident young people through sport and science?

AMP Lab has been promoting exercise sports science and evidence-based training since 2009. We coach with purpose, treat with science, and grow with heart. Our integrated team of physiotherapists, strength coaches, and sports scientists is looking for a Youth Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead and elevate our youth performance programmes—while also supporting general population clients in building lifelong strength.

If you believe in the long-term athletic development of youth and the power of strength training for every body, we want to hear from you.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology or related field

• Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (e.g., NSCA-CSCS, ASCA, UKSCA) and NREP or NROC registered.

• At least 1–2 years of experience coaching youth athletes (ages 10–18) in individual or team settings.

• Strong understanding of long-term athletic development models, growth and maturation principles, and safe youth training practices.

• Able to coach foundational lifts and movement patterns to general population clients safely and effectively. Safesport educated or certified mandatory

• Excellent communicator with young athletes, parents, and adults alike

• Bonus: Experience in a multidisciplinary rehab or performance setting

What You Will Do

Primary: Youth Athlete Development

• Design and deliver strength and conditioning programmes for youth athletes across various sports

• Lead group and small group sessions, ensuring safety, progression, and engagement

• Educate youth and parents on training principles, injury prevention, recovery, and healthy habits

• Collaborate with physiotherapists to integrate rehab and performance plans for return-to-play

Secondary: General Population Coaching

• Coach adult clients in foundational strength and conditioning for health, fitness and injury prevention

• Modify programmes based on fitness level, injury history, and goals

• Support facility upkeep, client care, and programme development where needed

Who You Are

• You love working with youth and have the patience, energy, and creativity to connect with them

• You coach with intention and understand that youth are not mini-adults

• You adapt quickly and balance structure with fun in your sessions

• You hold yourself to high professional standards and work well in a collaborative team

Why Join Us?

• You'll lead one of Singapore's most established youth S&C programmes

• You'll be part of a science-based but human-centred culture
