Key Responsibilities

  1. Production Oversight

  2. Manage daily operations of food production lines.

  3. Develop and implement production schedules and processes.
  4. Ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products.

  5. Quality & Safety Compliance

  6. Enforce food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).

  7. Monitor quality control procedures and product specifications.
  8. Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

  9. Staff Management

  10. Hire, train, and supervise production staff.

  11. Assign tasks based on skills and workload.
  12. Motivate teams to meet production targets.

  13. Process Improvement

  14. Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.

  15. Collaborate with R&D to develop new products or enhance existing ones.
  16. Conduct risk assessments and forecasts for production planning.

  17. Inventory & Equipment

  18. Maintain inventory of raw materials and finished goods.

  19. Oversee maintenance and repair of production equipment.
  20. Ensure proper storage conditions for all materials.

  21. Reporting & Coordination

  22. Prepare reports on production metrics and performance.

  23. Coordinate with procurement and sales teams.
  24. Participate in strategic planning and product launches.

 Job Requirements

  1. Education

  2. Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

  3. Certifications in HACCP, GMP, or food safety are highly preferred.

  4. Experience

  5. Minimum 5 years in food production or manufacturing management.

  6. Proven track record in leading teams and managing production lines.

  7. Skills

  8. Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

  9. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  10. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  11. Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
