Responsibilities

  • Discuss, draft, review, and negotiate contract terms with clients, consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers
  • Oversee all contract administration tasks and coordinate with project managers and team members on matters such as extensions of time, variation orders, claims, and cost-related issues
  • Advise management and project teams to ensure compliance with contract terms and procedures
  • Identify potential contractual risks and recommend solutions to minimize exposure
  • Knowledgeable in standard contract forms and regulations including PSSCOC, REDAS, SIA, and the Security of Payment (SOP) Act
  • Handle contractual disputes and work towards amicable resolutions with internal and external parties
  • Prepare and manage all contract-related documents and assist in drafting letters related to disputes or contractual matters
  • Carry out other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Min 8 years of relevant experience in contract management within the construction industry (M&E)
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skills
