We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Shipping Executive to join our Singapore team. The role involves end-to-end management of import, export, and local shipments, ensuring compliance with Singapore Customs regulations while delivering timely and cost-effective solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full spectrum of shipping activities for import, export, and local deliveries.
  • Prepare, verify, and submit shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, permits, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
  • Process customs permits via TradeNet and ensure compliance with Singapore Customs requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, PSA/Jurong Port, and Changi Airfreight Centre for cargo handling and vessel/flight bookings.
  • Coordinate container/trucking arrangements and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Track and update shipment status, proactively resolving delays, discrepancies, or damages.
  • Work closely with banks on Letter of Credit (L/C) documentation when required.
  • Ensure compliance with Free Trade Agreements (FTA), Incoterms, and trade regulations.
  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to support business operations.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant shipping/logistics experience in Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of TradeNet permit declaration, Incoterms, and Singapore Customs procedures.
  • Familiar with import/export documentation and shipping practices (sea/airfreight).
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience in SAP systems is an advantage.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with service providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple shipments under tight deadlines.
