Responsibilities:
- Checking of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Managing day-to-day communications and coordinating to work with internal and external personnel
- Maintain and manage project installation schedules
- Providing advice on contractual claims; preparation of payment claims
- Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
- Responsible for end-to-end Project Delivery of various sub-projects, managing and controlling all factors related to the project, and to balance both company objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Perform as the primary customer interface during overall Project Delivery, to ensure project is delivered according to scope, quality, time and budgeted cost
- Responsible for the Profit and Loss of all the Projects, ensuring more service business can be generated from the current business position
- Ensure compliance of established Project Management Processes on all projects to enhance professionalism in the Company's Project Management business
- Manage and ensure process compliance concerning end-to-end Project Delivery from hand-over of Sales to Project, until getting all Acceptances and handover to Customer
- Provide regular project update to the Sales, Operations teams and Management on all on-going projects, understanding the exact condition of the project, including project resource requirements and actual cost budget condition
- Pro-actively chase contract variations where the scope of work has increased or varies from the specification. Actively review the costs of delivery with the aim of reducing costs whilst still maintaining the necessary quality. This includes recording completed work costs incurred, materials used and retain progress documentation
- Attend site meetings and manage relationships with Customers' project management teams, Subcontractors as required
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Project Management, with relevant working experience
- Prior experience in the hospitality or building industry is preferred
- Hands-on exposure to residential, commercial, and hospitality projects
- Strong design sense with solid product knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized with good time management
- Proactive, independent, and able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
