Trade Documentation Officer

Central Region, Singapore Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

This specialist role entails processing/issuing of Certificates of Origin, Carnets and endorsing other shipping documents for the Singapore business community. This is a dual-role position involving both frontline customer service and backend processing of trade documents such as Certificates of Origin and ATA Carnets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle collection and point-of-sale entry of certification fees
  • Guide customers on Certificate of Origin (CO) and Carnet application procedures
  • Processing Certificate of Origin & Carnet applications and endorse other shipping documents
  • Attend to queried/rejected applications and phone/counter enquiries from customers

Requirements

  • A service-oriented individual with a "proud to serve" attitude

  • You must be willing to keep learning
  • Experience in trade finance operations/shipping/freight forwarding is an advantage but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
