About the role

Soleum Energy Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and driven Trading Operations Executive to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily import and export operations of our energy products, ensuring efficient and compliant logistical processes. Based in our central downtown office, you will play a vital role in supporting our company's growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate the import and export of energy products, liaising with suppliers, customers, and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Prepare sales contract and handle all post fixtures operations
  • Prepare Documentation Instruction and Voyage Orders in accordance to sales contract and charter party
  • Optimize operational cost savings and maximize trading profit from efficient operation execution
  • Provide administrative support to the broader trading team, including order processing and reporting
  • Handle demurrage & laytime calculations, negotiate and settlement demurrage with related parties, such as Owners, counterparties, and other related parties.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar trading operations or logistics role, preferably within the energy sector
  • Strong understanding of import/export processes and customs regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, with the ability to analyze data and generate reports
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a keen eye for detail
