This Position reports to:

Senior Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope (global/regional) in an effective manner to improve ABB's market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations in the assigned channel. Each day, you will execute channel sales strategies and initiatives within the assigned market, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel, in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the sales customer base growth for the assigned channel.

The work model for the role is: Onsite as well as remote work in hybrid model. This working model is subject to motion Business business guidelines.

This role is contributing to the for the Drive Products (MODP), PG Code 4015 for Motion business in Singapore. Main stakeholders are Channel Partners, Contractors, Internal Sales colleagues, Area Sales Managers and motion Business Management.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Implementing the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget.
  • Creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies.
  • Reporting the progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets.
  • Conducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving any identified problems if they were to arise.

Qualifications for the role

  • You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with Salesforce, MS Office Tools and keen to learn new sales tool currently being used in the construction & industrial market
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in Drive Products Business and/or electrical distribution.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in channel partner management, different sales tools and techniques for consistent performance of the channel partners.
  • You are passionate about constant engagement with channel partners, connecting at various levels within the partner organizations to educate, motivate and inspire to deliver outstanding results.
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. You have a demonstrated track record in sales/channel partner sales management, customer engagement and extensive knowledge of channel partner business dynamics.
  • You are at ease communicating in English and at least one other language spoken among different groups in Singapore.
  • You hold current valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore and are legally authorized to work in Singapore.
