Job Description Summary
The Channels Business Development Specialist will play a critical role in expanding and optimizing payment channel partnerships for Razer Gold. This individual will focus on identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic relationships with payment providers to grow our global channel touchpoints and optimize existing partnerships. You will collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Operations, Legal, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and enhanced payment performance across regions.**Responsibilities**:
- Identify New Payment Channels: Research and identify potential new payment methods across emerging markets, aligned with Razer Gold’s expansion goals.
- Develop and Maintain Partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing payment service providers (PSPs) to drive growth, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations.
- Optimize Payment Channels: Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to optimize payment processes, ensuring high authorization rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor payment trends and competitor activities to recommend new solutions and stay ahead of the market.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to complete the contract sign off processes and ensure that all payment channel integrations comply with local regulations and internal policies.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze payment performance data to recommend strategic changes to drive operational efficiencies and channel success.
- Support Business Expansion: Contribute to Razer Gold’s global expansion by onboarding new payment methods that cater to diverse customer preferences across regions.
**Pre-Requisites**:
- The individual must demonstrate experience in engaging a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders, team members.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably within payment channels, fintech, or e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of global payment methods and digital wallets.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Prior experience in digital payment position in a digital content / gaming company is a plus.
