Accountabilities:
Faculty Talent HR Partnership and Support:
- Act as the primary Faculty Talent HR contact for faculty, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
- Assist faculty with Faculty Talent HR inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Support faculty recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and selection processes.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new faculty members, ensuring a smooth transition into the institution.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for faculty.
- Address and resolve faculty concerns and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and employment laws.
Faculty Talent HR Policies and Compliance:
- Communicate Faculty Talent HR policies and procedures to faculty.
- Ensure faculty adherence to institutional policies and legal requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in HR laws and regulations and update practices accordingly.
Faculty Talent HR Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Faculty Talent HR records for faculty.
- Prepare Faculty Talent HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Assist in the administration of faculty compensation and benefits programs.
- Provide information and support to faculty regarding their compensation and benefits.
HRIS System Support: Support Manager in all HRIS related system support including:
- Follow-up and track issues of all system enhancement requests, setting up of role-based profiles, and change in workflow due to policy updates, regulatory change or staff movement (legacy system as well as new HCM)
- Liaise with QA, HR, HE and IT on security access and organization configuration to ensure smooth deployment, faculty contract acceptance and SSG registration.
- Attend to users (lecturers and HE program team) issues on Workday business process transactions
- Maintenance of HRIS data
Administrative Support:
- Support in Faculty Appreciation Event or any other Faculty Related Events
- Provide various forms of administrative Faculty Talent HR support to SIM GE associates, such as managing over the counter queries, item collection and attend to welfare matters (e.g.: carpark, lounge, PPE collection).
- Liaise with vendors on certificate printing, gifts sourcing, lecturer staff card.
Support Academic Term Scheduling: Participate in biannual scheduling and resource planning on lecturers availability checks to consolidate teaching slot requests for Higher Education and Resource Management and Support Services departments.
Any other Faculty Talent HR Operations support as required
Qualifications:
Degree, Diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of Faculty HR experience is preferred
