Job Description:
- Lead and manage business development efforts across key logistics services, including Air, Ocean, Domestic Transportation, and Warehousing.
- Drive regional sales strategies and customer engagement across Southeast Asia and Australia, including regular business travel for client visits and presentations.
- Strengthen existing client relationships by promoting customer retention, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.
- Build and lead a high-performing business development team; establish and track KPIs to meet monthly, semi-annual, and long-term revenue and profitability targets.
- Develop and implement national and regional supply chain strategies to position the organization as a top-tier logistics provider in SEA and Australia.
- Collaborate closely with procurement teams to align on pricing strategies and secure competitive air and ocean freight rates and capacity.
- Guide the international freight and express sales teams toward high performance and results-driven culture.
- Monitor market trends and industry movements to adapt strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
- Oversee sales pipeline (business opportunity inventory) across the region, ensuring active, quality leads and accurate forecasting.
- Define and execute Go-to-Market strategies by region, ensuring alignment between sales efforts and strategic goals.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports for internal reviews and leadership meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Over 15 years of experience in the logistics industry, with deep knowledge of international freight and supply chain operations.
- Minimum of 5 years' proven track record in business development and sales, preferably in a global freight forwarding or logistics company.
- Demonstrated experience leading, directing, and managing high-performance teams within a multinational logistics environment.
- Hands-on experience with managing large-scale contracts and global key accounts.
- Familiarity with logistics IT systems such as FIS, WMS, and TMS.
- Strong background in logistics sales and business development across Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, and Warehousing.
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations.
- Proven leadership capabilities in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Well-established network within the logistics, transport, air, and ocean freight industries in Southeast Asia and Australia.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and situational management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence outcomes and drive commercial growth.
