Assistant Manager, HR Medical Manpower

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and execute specialist manpower planning in collaboration with the team and clinical service line leaders.
  • Monitor workforce stability and perform basic manpower adequacy analyses, documenting discussion outcomes and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Manage the full HR central resourcing process for medical specialists, including interviewing, onboarding, and placement coordination.
  • Co-facilitate Total Performance Management (TPM) for clinicians through data preparation, analysis, and promotion calibration exercises.
  • Stay updated on medical HR policies and recommend enhancements to ensure compliance with regulations and evolving healthcare practices.
  • Provide expert advice on HR policy interpretation, procedures, manpower planning, and related legislation.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to ensure effective delivery of HR initiatives and services.
  • Support and lead assigned HR projects or ad-hoc initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • HR experience, preferably in a business partnering capacity.
  • Proven experience in manpower planning is essential.
  • Resourceful, independent, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in digital tools with strong analytical ability — particularly in MS Excel for data analysis and charting.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
