As a key team member, you will support the strengthening of Singapore's sporting legacy by helping to amplify the stories of our national athletes and building meaningful connections with the community. You will contribute to showcasing Team Singapore athletes as inspirational role models, helping to foster national pride and encourage the next generation of sporting talent.

This position offers valuable exposure to Singapore's sporting ecosystem, working alongside national athletes and national sports associations. You will support high-profile campaigns, major sporting events, and community engagement initiatives that reach thousands of Singaporeans. From behind-the-scenes athlete stories to event execution support, you will gain valuable experience in content creation, event organisation and stakeholder coordination.

Job Description

The High Performance Sport Institute (HPSI), under Sport Singapore, supports Team Singapore athletes by providing high-performance systems and services. It aims to help athletes reach their full potential and inspire national pride through sporting excellence.

Co-led by Sport Singapore, Singapore Sports School (SSP) and National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI), you will be part of a journey to support the vision for the next bound to build new capabilities for high performance sport and better integrate our programmes/policies to strengthen support for youth to senior athletes, and youth-to-senior transition.

What You'll Do:

As a valued team member, you will support the telling of inspiring stories of Singapore's national athletes across three core areas:

Content Creation and Brand Support You will create and produce engaging content across multiple platforms whilst implementing brand guidelines consistently. Your role involves developing compelling athlete stories and digital content, monitoring social media platforms, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining content calendars. You will also support photography and videography requirements to build a comprehensive visual asset library that showcases Team Singapore's excellence.

Event Implementation and Marketing Support You will execute event logistics and on-ground activities, supporting the implementation of marketing campaigns that amplify Team Singapore's presence. This includes coordinating athlete appearances and schedules, assisting in community engagement programmes, gathering campaign metrics, and maintaining thorough event documentation to ensure smooth operations and effective logistical support.

Stakeholder Coordination Working collaboratively across the sporting ecosystem, you'll support day-to-day communication with stakeholders including athletes, national sports associations, and partners. You will help maintain stakeholder databases, support joint initiatives, document feedback and interactions, and assist in preparing engagement reports that strengthen our sporting community connections.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree qualification, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Sports Management or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in content creation, marketing, event coordination, or sports-related roles. Fresh graduates with relevant internships or portfolio work will be considered.
• Good understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and basic proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, basic video editing apps, or Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft engaging content and interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong interest in sports and Team Singapore with willingness to learn about the local sporting landscape and athlete journeys. Experience as an athlete, coach, or in sports administration/management is a plus.
• Good time-management abilities with capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse stakeholders including athletes, sporting organisations, schools and corporates.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, videography, or advanced editing software is advantageous.
• Comfortable working flexible hours including evenings and weekends during major sporting events and willingness to travel for events when required.
• Proactive, adaptable and team player with strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
