Key Responsibilities:
Store Expansion Strategy
- Develop and execute the store expansion strategy for the Singapore region. Analyze market trends, demographics, and competitor activities to identify potential areas for new store openings.
- Set up short - term and long - term goals for store expansion, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
Vendor and Partner Management
- Liaise with engineering suppliers to ensure seamless construction and fit - out processes for new stores. Negotiate contracts, manage timelines, and ensure quality control throughout the project.
- Coordinate with design and construction teams. Provide clear briefs based on MINISO's brand standards, and oversee the design and construction progress to meet the company's requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with mall developers, property owners, and real estate agents. Actively seek out prime store locations, negotiate lease terms, and secure the best possible deals for the company.
Project Coordination and Implementation
- Plan the entire process of new store openings, from site selection to store launch. Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, operations, and merchandising to ensure a smooth transition from construction to store opening. Provide necessary support and information to each department to ensure they are well - prepared for the new store's launch.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of new stores post - opening. Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures as needed.
Job Requirement:
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, real estate, or project management, with a proven track record of successful store expansion or real estate deal - making in the Singapore market.
Skills
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms from suppliers, landlords, and other partners.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello).
- Good understanding of the Singaporean real estate market, including knowledge of prime locations, mall operations, and lease negotiation processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
