The incumbent will be based in Singapore and lead company expansion into selected Asia & South-East Asia (SEA) markets. As a vital part of the international team, you will be essential in driving profitable growth, extending distribution reach, and cultivating strategic partnerships within these areas.

The Opportunity

The Talent
- At least 7-10 years of regional business development, sales, or account management within the consumer goods (required) or pet food industry (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in stakeholder management, overseeing distributor and retailer networks as well as RPF team members.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent in time management, organization, and prioritization.
- Highly adaptable and resilient, able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team based in various markets.
- Quick to understand the market and identify selling opportunities that align with market and brand strategy.
- Possessing an in depth understanding of the focus markets (Hong Kong, Taiwan and select markets in SEA)
- Previous experience with sales or business development, ideally in related or similar FMCG categories
- Able to identify distribution and selling opportunities, and navigate complexity to drive business success
The Job
- Formulate and implement brand and product expansion strategies tailored to the specific markets of Asia & SEA, identifying growth opportunities and achieving annual distributor network targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders to ensure optimal product distribution, driving sales and market penetration.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to maximize brand visibility and revenue generation. Manage the follow-up of the central enquiries list for relevant Asian markets to identify and prioritize business opportunities for RPF.
- Act as the main point of contact for existing accounts, nurturing relationships, addressing inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor emerging industry trends and provide feedback to the Asia working group.
- Identify opportunities through market information, including customer service inquiries and customer collaboration, and coordinate with the RPF Asia team for action, including evaluating the size of opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize customer orders and shipments and address quality concerns.
- Manage targets (based on distributor network development) and expenses related to business development activities effectively.
- Act as an RPF expert on compliance with regulations, standards, and industry best practices in relevant markets.
