About the role
This is a full-time Programme Executive (Volunteer Management) role at St Joseph's Home, located in the West Region. As the Programme Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting our organisation's volunteer programme, ensuring volunteers are engaged, empowered and making a meaningful contribution to the home's services and the residents it supports.
What you'll be doing
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a diverse pool of volunteers to support the delivery of St Joseph's Home's services
- Develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies to attract, retain, and recognise volunteers
- Provide training and ongoing support to volunteers to ensure they are equipped to carry out their roles effectively
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and activities to align with the home's operational needs
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of the volunteer programme, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate volunteer support into the home's service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, activities, and feedback
- Prepare relevant management reports, involved in planning of budget
- Represent the volunteer programme externally and build relationships with community partners
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in volunteer management or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate volunteers
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills to coordinate volunteer activities
- Familiarity with volunteer recruitment, training, and recognition best practices
- Passion for supporting the local community and a commitment to the values of St Joseph's Home
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in the use of relevant volunteer management software and tools
