Central Region, Singapore KGA Full time $60,000 - $120,000 per year

About the role

Are you a Human Resource Generalist looking for a new challenge? KGA' is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in the Central Region. As a full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our growing organization with all aspects of human resource management. This is a pivotal role in the company which requires you to act as the bridge between operations, coaching teams, and HR management - ensuring staff engagement, clear communication, and consistent implementation of HR initiatives across all gym sites.

You'll start by immersing yourself in how the company operates—understanding our processes, systems, and needs—while taking on key administrative tasks. As you master the fundamentals, you'll have ample opportunity to contribute ideas, streamline operations, and grow into a more senior position. Our current HR Manager will transition focus to finance, handing over day-to-day HR responsibilities to you as the company scales. This is a true development role with mentorship, ownership, and a defined progression pathway.

What you'll be doing

  • Be physically present at gym sites each week (Orchard, Katong, Serangoon) to understand daily operations, challenges, and team dynamics. (Especially at the start while learning the business)
  • Partner closely with coaches and admin teams to identify HR needs, welfare issues, and development opportunities.
  • Lead recruitment strategy, job evaluation, and compensation benchmarking to ensure fairness, alignment, and competitiveness.
  • Conduct interviews and onboarding, ensuring smooth integration and consistent training standards.
  • Track attendance, roster accuracy, and working hours for operational visibility.
  • Drive employee engagement, welfare programs, and internal communication.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to assess morale, gather feedback, and support retention initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations and disciplinary processes in coordination with HR Manager.
  • Coordinate Learning & Development (L&D) sessions, identify skill gaps, and develop staff retention strategies, training roadmaps, and KPIs for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze manpower cost vs revenue and provide insights to management on workforce efficiency and site performance.
  • Support audit documentation and ensure site-level HR compliance.

  • Track quotas of employment with MoM and other key HR metrics

  • Ad hoc HR related activities

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Generalist HR professional, ideally within a fast-paced, growing organization
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore employment law and best HR practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Proficient in using HR information systems and data analysis (Info Tech a strong positive)
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Relevant CIPD qualification or equivalent

What we offer

At KGA', we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and fulfilling work environment. In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect:

  1. Competitive remuneration in a merit based environment
  2. Generous annual leave allowance plus bank holidays
  3. Opportunities for professional development and career progression
  4. Flexible and hybrid working options
