Job Descriptions:
• Ensure smooth & efficient daily kitchen operations, food preparations and implementation of new menu
• Prepare/cook dishes according to cafe's standards of quality control, recipes, cooking techniques and food presentation to the guests.
• Ensure food storage, handling and hygiene are in accordance with NEA regulations and standards.
• Keeping the kitchen and equipment clean and in good working conditions.
• Ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times
• Maintain proper and sufficient stock of ingredients, utensils, supplies and equipment within company's guidelines for smooth running of daily operations
• Maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues and continual improvement through guests' feedback
• Support safe work habits and environment at all times.
• Perform any other duties as and when required by the Management.
Job Requirements:
• Preferably with 2 years' relevant experience.
• Minimum secondary school education with a valid WSQ food safety & hygiene certificate
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work independently and support other team members proactively in a fast-paced environment
