We are seeking a passionate and self-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in Singapore. This role focuses on B2B/Industrial/HORECA sales of bakery ingredients. You'll be provided with qualified leads and encouraged to prospect for new business opportunities actively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and collection targets set by the company.
  • Lead and manage a team of Solution Providers, ensuring effective customer engagement and technical support.
  • Provide customer service and solutions based on a structured call cycle.
  • Proactively open new accounts and grow sales across Singapore.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations with technical support to showcase product benefits to industrial clients.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and stay updated on developments in the baking ingredients sector.
  • Ensure timely collections and propose appropriate credit terms based on business potential.

Requirements:

  • Preferably own transport with a valid driver's license; willing to travel within Singapore.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience, ideally in baking or food manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of baking ingredients and food production processes.
  • Proficiency in English; ability to communicate in Bahasa, Mandarin, or local dialects is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build rapport.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and persuasion abilities.
  • Results-oriented with a consistent track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
