Business Development Manager - Absolute Boutique Fitness SingaporeThis is a key management role for a results-driven and organized professional who will lead the growth of the business.
This role requires a dynamic blend of strategic sales, project management, and operational expertise. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is passionate about the wellness industry and capable of managing these distinct yet interconnected divisions to achieve our global expansion goals.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth through new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic sales initiatives across Singapore and Hong Kong. This role plays a key part in Absolute's expansion plans — increasing brand awareness, accelerating membership acquisition, and building sustainable corporate and community relationships that support revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities New Business & Sales Growth● Develop and execute strategies to grow membership sales and revenue across studios.
● Identify and secure B2B opportunities such as corporate memberships, sponsorships, strategic partnerships, and long-term brand collaborations.
● Support new studio launches with targeted outreach and lead generation initiatives.
● Build a healthy pipeline and deliver consistent sales results aligned to company targets.
Partnerships & Community Development
● Establish strong partnerships with local businesses, lifestyle brands, and wellness communities.
● Plan and execute pop-ups, activations, and external events to expand market reach.
● Collaborate with Marketing to develop creative promotions that drive studio traffic and trial conversions.
Market Intelligence & Expansion Support
● Provide market insights on competitor activities, customer behavior, and emerging opportunities.
● Assist General Manager and Headquarters with feasibility studies and new market rollouts.
● Track partnership performance, ROI, and deliver detailed reporting for decision-making.
People & Performance Management
● Support recruitment, onboarding, and resource planning for Cycle and Pilates instructors.
● Oversee performance management, ensuring service excellence and adherence to brand technique standards.
● Guide instructors on professional growth, class development, and personal brand alignment.
Ensure clear communication, schedule efficiency, and positive engagement across the instructor community.
● Maintain a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration between instructors and studio teams.
Regional Collaboration
● Work closely with GM and HQ functions (Operations, Marketing, Training, Finance).
● Support creation and rollout of new SOPs, systems, and business initiatives.
● Assist with new studio launch preparations, renovations and execution.
Qualifications & Requirements
● –5+ years experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within fitness, retail, hospitality, lifestyle, or premium consumer services.
● Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets and manage pipeline performance.
● Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and influence both studio sales teams and instructors.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
Analytical mindset with solid understanding of P&L levers and performance metrics.
● Adaptable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced growth environment.
● Passion for wellness, member experience, and community building.
