**Roles & Responsibilities**

**We are now looking for a new Country Manager to head up the office and to be part of growing our footprint and presence in Singapore. We have been active in Singapore since 2009 and today we have a fantastic team of employees.**

Today Southeast Asia has more than 670 million inhabitants and a combined GDP of 9,34 trillion USD driven by massive investments in physical and digital infrastructure, increased value-add and strengthened pace of innovation in the manufacturing sector together with a rapidly growing middle class driving domestic consumption overtaking exports as primary driver of growth. Singapore has for long been one of Sweden’s most important trading partners in Southeast Asia. Large investments aimed at increasing productivity in the private sector, has created opportunities for Swedish solutions and know-how. With high economic growth, the economy is expected to continue its positive trajectory. We see great potential for Business Sweden in Singapore, and this is a great opportunity to develop your career in a truly inspiring market and the wider region.

**What do we expect from you?**

As a Country Manager, you will have responsibility for sales and delivery and for developing the Business Sweden employees. You will be based in Singapore and report to the Market Area Director for Southeast Asia based in Singapore. You have a vision and a strong drive to develop Business Sweden’s operations in Singapore and Southeast Asia even further.

**Responsibilities**:

- Representing interests of Swedish enterprise and Business Sweden in the market
- Selling and marketing Business Sweden's services to existing and potential clients in both Sweden and in the SEA region, including add-on sales in on-going projects
- Maintaining continuous contact with existing and potential client enterprises and stakeholders
- Managing, planning and participating in the execution of consulting/ internationalisation assignments
- Full Profit & Loss responsibility
- People Management including inspiring and developing the team
- Developing business and organization processes
- Operating from a global perspective to promote Swedish industry and companies

**Skills & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering
- 10 years of relevant working experience
- Business oriented, possess positive attitude with strong self-motivation
- Strong leadership and management abilities especially in inspiring, empathizing and building trust in a diverse team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment without compromising results
- Have performed successful strategic sales and proven track record of developing customers, deep customers insight and strong negotiation/closing skills
- Analytical, reflective, focused and result-oriented
- Experience handling multi stakeholder projects including government agencies
- Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Swedish (Swedish speaking will be an added advantage)
