Description
The Sales Manager, Southeast Asia is responsible for leading business development and sales efforts across the SEA region. This includes growing revenue, managing existing client and channel relationships, developing new business opportunities, and aligning regional strategies with company goals.
The role requires technical aptitude, strong relationship and negotiation skills, and ability to work autonomously across different cultures and markets.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies across key Southeast Asian markets.
• Identify and prioritize high-potential markets and customer segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and channel partners.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms of sale.
• Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports.
• Coordinate with marketing on product launches, promotions, and events.
• Provide feedback to product development and technical teams on customer requirements.
• Train and support distributors or local teams on product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Travel frequently to manage relationships and support sales initiatives on the ground.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technical product sectors.
• Proven track record managing B2B accounts and regional distributors.
• Strong business development and negotiation skills.
• High technical aptitude; ability to understand complex product offerings.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a regional role.
• Additional SEA languages are a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
