About the Role

This role focuses exclusively on niche defense-related solutions, supporting clients such as naval forces, defense contractors, and shipyards. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing key relationships, and driving sales of Marunda's authorized defense product portfolio.

This is a base + commission role with a negotiable structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop business opportunities within the defense and government contracting sectors
  • Manage relationships with naval maintenance units, shipyards, and defense contractors
  • Present and promote Marunda's defense product lines with technical accuracy and compliance awareness
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure client requirements are met with speed and precision
  • Support proposal development and quotation processes aligned with defense procurement protocols
  • Monitor market trends, tender opportunities, and competitor activity within the defense domain

Who We're Looking For

  • Background in defense, naval, or marine engineering, or prior experience selling to defense or government entities
  • Strong understanding of technical sales and familiarity with defense procurement environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate structured, compliance-based organizations
  • Self-driven, meticulous, and able to manage multiple defense-related leads and documentation requirements
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders
  • Possess driving license
