**This is a 6-month contract role**

Reporting to the Senior Finance & Accounting Manager, the candidate will be involved in Finance & Accounting functions. The role involves working closely with other regional team members in USA, Taiwan and China.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle monthly closing and responsible for day-to-day accounting transactions
  2. Responsible for proper update and documentation of accounting records
  3. Process staff expense claims and payment
  4. Manage AP, AR & GL functions
  5. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  6. Prepare quarterly GST returns and filings
  7. Prepare monthly reconciliations for inter-company balances
  8. Support workflow processes & existing ERP accounting system
  9. Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties on different aspects including but not limited to audit, tax and corporate secretarial matters
  10. Organize and maintain document filing system
  11. Undertake any other ad hoc tasks as assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

Diploma / Degree in Accountancy or ACCA (Ex-accountant preferred)

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel

Prior hands-on experience in Business Central Accounting Software

Good written and communication skills, must be able to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts

Good team player, able to work well with internal and external parties

Proactive, organized, meticulous and task oriented

Possess a positive mindset and willingness to take on new tasks

Discreet in dealing with confidential data

Experience:

Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience with full set accounts.
