About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Finance Executive / Senior Finance Executive to join our client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable, supporting financial analysis and forecasting, handling billing & invoicing, and assisting with various accounting functions. You will also have the opportunity to participate in ad-hoc projects within a leading multinational corporation in the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable (AP) Management

  • Act as the point of contact for AP matters.
  • Manage and review the work performed by the outsourced Shared Services AP team.
  • Conduct weekly calls with 3rd-party AP team to resolve issues.
  • Prepare payment packages for signatory approval and vendor payments.
  • Review suppliers' SOA monthly for reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Monitor and rectify aged AP items, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support and prepare urgent payment requests as needed.

2. Analysis & Forecasting

  • Prepare and submit monthly cashflow forecasts.
  • Analyse inventory and WIP aging reserve reports.
  • Improve efficiency and accuracy of the forecasting process.

3. Billing & Invoicing

  • Validate invoices generated from sales and send out to external customers.
  • Prepare supporting documents for monthly intercompany rebilling.
  • Validate and manage monthly intercompany netting program (via Shared Services AP).

4. Financial Accounting Support

  • Prepare quarterly GST reporting.
  • Handle monthly accruals with journal entries related to AP expenses/invoices.
  • Perform monthly intercompany balance matching and accruals.
  • Prepare account reconciliations (AP, GRIR, Cash in Bank).

5. Others

  • Participate in ad-hoc finance projects.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4–5 years of relevant finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP/ERP experience preferred.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
