About the Role

At Singapore General Hospital (SGH), consistently ranked among the world's top hospitals, we are committed to empowering patients and caregivers with the knowledge they need for better health outcomes. We are seeking a Senior Executive / Asst Manager (Marketing) to join SGH Communications.

This role requires you to build trust, foster lasting relationships with patients, and ensure that the right health information reaches the right people, in the right way. You will help design engaging, easy-to-understand patient education content across clinical pathways and support campaigns that drive adoption of SGH's digital health services.

What You'll Do

  • Create and curate content: Draft, edit and produce patient-friendly educational materials (articles, videos, infographics) to support patients at every stage of their clinical journey.
  • Ensure accuracy and trust: Vet and clear educational content in collaboration with clinicians, ensuring compliance with SGH standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage knowledge systems: Maintain and update the hospital's patient education content database, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and relevance.
  • Personalise patient engagement: Adapt content to different patient groups and design communication that supports retention, trust, and positive experiences.
  • Drive campaigns: Contribute to integrated patient education campaigns and publicity for new eServices, such as Video Consult, ensuring materials highlight benefits and patient value.
  • Relationship management: Build and manage segmented communication journeys with patients and caregivers (e.g. email campaigns, reminders), to strengthen long-term engagement.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a healthcare-related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in content creation, health communication, or education, ideally in healthcare or complex subject matter.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify medical information into clear, patient-friendly language.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • A creative problem solver, comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and projects.
