Job Description and Responsibilities:
RISE for Business is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our team as the B2B Sales and Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving RISE for Business learner acquisition outcomes and KPIs. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Take ownership of the entire sales cycle from lead generation to conversion, proactively identifying and engaging potential clients who stand to benefit from RISE for Business.
- Employ a consultative sales approach, understanding clients' business challenges and demonstrating how RISE for Business can address their specific needs.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with client accounts, business stakeholders and sponsors from both big enterprises and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises).
- Serve as a lead point of contact for all client account management matters, delivering exceptional client service.
- Maintain a robust and dynamic sales pipeline, consistently adding new prospects, advancing deals, and ensuring a healthy conversion to meet company objectives.
- Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to drive client satisfaction.
- Collect regular feedback on client needs, challenges and objectives, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve partnership.
- Proactively identify cross/-sell/up-sell business opportunities from existing client portfolio, delivering monthly and annual targets.
- Regularly share progress on sales performance and client feedback to analyse and identify best practices to drive continuous improvement in customer success.
- Represent the RISE for Business training program at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise awareness, identify potential partnership opportunities, and engage with RISE Programme partners.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Sales Expertise: A strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including lead generation, prospecting, relationship building, and deal closure. Experience in consultative and solution-based selling is valuable.
- Client Relationship Management: The ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Understanding client needs and customizing solutions to meet those needs.
- Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to address client objections and find solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with sales tracking tools (like hubspot) and CRM systems to monitor and report on sales performance.
- Motivation and Drive: Self-motivated and results-driven, with a determination to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changes in the sales landscape and adjust strategies to respond to evolving market dynamics.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills to balance multiple leads and sales activities.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to conduct engaging and persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations.
- Client-Centric Approach: A customer-focused mindset to prioritize client satisfaction and build long-lasting relationships.
YOU'll WORK WITH
- BCG RISE Team – spanning content, operations, technology, learner services, and others.
- Global BCG U leadership team and the BCG U Ops team led by the Global Operations Executive Director. You will also be connected to your colleagues in BCG's global practices as well as with the global, local, and regional marketing functions.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, process-disciplined and maturity to represent BCG brand.
Experience in the account management of local SMEs, or sales of products/services to local SMEs, with a strong understanding of local SME's unique needs and challenges.
Solid proficiency in project management and client relationship management methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets.
Experience in collaborating and establishing partnerships with government bodies is highly desirable.
Advanced proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
