About the role

Join the dynamic sales team at WANCO ELECTRIC PTE. LTD. as a Business Development Executive. In this full-time role based in the Jurong East West Region, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding the company's customer base. As a key member of the sales function, you will play a crucial part in the overall success and expansion of the organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Identify and prospect for new sales opportunities within target markets
  2. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new customers
  3. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales leads and opportunities
  4. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the company's products and solutions.
  5. Negotiate and close sales deals in a timely and professional manner
  6. Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
  7. Provide market intelligence and insights to improve sales strategies and processes

What we're looking for

  1. 1-3 years of proven experience in a sales development or new business acquisition role
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence customers
  3. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  4. Proficient in using Microsoft tools to manage work flow
  5. Familiarity with the electrical accessories, M&E and/or industrial products industry
  6. Diploma in Business or Engineering
  7. Driven, ambitious and passionate about achieving sales targets
