The Business Support Executive is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to Biomedia Group. The role reports to Chief Strategy Officer and involves handling various tasks and responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations and the overall efficiency of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Implement smarter, tech-enabled solutions and automation to streamline operations.

  • Develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials to ensure consistency across teams.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with Business Managers.

  • Translate data and performance metrics into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Conduct research and analysis on business trends, market opportunities, and operational performance.

  • Support cross-functional projects, including continuous improvement and change initiatives.

  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Ensure smooth adoption of new processes through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

  • Provide high-level support to the Chief Strategy Officer, including scheduling, briefings, and correspondence.

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare documentation, and maintain records.

  • Organize leadership offsites, company events, and conferences.

  • Assist with emerging priorities, strategic initiatives, and business development projects as required.

Pre-requisites:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in strategy, operations, or business support, preferably in a trading or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data analytics tools will be a plus (e.g., Power BI, R, Python) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
